About Mental Health America- Augusta Chapter

Mental Health America of Greater Augusta, Inc. is made up of volunteers dedicated to being a strong voice to public and private efforts in support of mental health and the prevention of mental illness.

 MHA�s members are committed to defining and communicating the mental health needs of the CSRA. Among our member are interested individuals, businesses, families, students, as well as local mental health professionals and consumers of mental health services.

Mental Health America of Greater Augusta was chartered in 1954 by the Georgia Association for Mental Health, Inc. We are a supportive link to the community for those recently discharged from mental hospitals. MHA�s programs and initiatives fulfill its mission of promoting mental health and preventing mental illness through advocacy, education, research and services.
